WordPress Worm is Circulating

Problem: A WordPress worm is circulating, Cnet News reporting, that effects WordPress 2.8.3 and below. The malicious script enters the WordPress through a permalink system, writes itself into the engine folders, and posts spam messages. Once infected, it is hard to find and eliminate.

Solution: As a WordPress user, update to at least 2.8.4 ASAP.

Note: The above described worm is transparent for the Strider's Online Warm Checker.
